ACRL/NY User Experience "meet and greet"-- Friday Oct 7, 2011- Mercy College, room 704. (9:15am-10:45am)

Join us for our Fall 2011 ACRL/NY User Experience Discussion Group “Meet and Greet” at Mercy College, from 9:15am-10:45am in room 704.

Join us for our Fall 2011 “Meet and Greet” where we will discuss LibGuides, the popular web-based management tool for the creation and development of web-based guides for many academic libraries.

We will be discussing some of your experiences using LibGuides, your challenges, success stories, and your observations on how students and faculty use them. Do you use LibGuides for library instruction or simply as a guide? Do your users like it? How do you measure your users’ satisfaction of LibGuides?

If you would like to attend, please confirm your attendance by emailing either myself of Albert. We need to get a list of attendees for the security guard. Please bring your I.D. to enter the building. Mercy College is located at 66 West 35th street (corner 6th Avenue).

Coffee and light refreshments will be served.

Please note that this is a “meet and greet” so everyone is welcome. You do NOT need to be an ACRL/NY member to attend. All other ACRL/NY discussion group meetings (except the meet and greets) require membership.

Please RSVP to myself or Albert if you would like to attend.

Thank you,
Mark Aaron Polger, Co-Chair ACRL/NY User Experience Discussion Group
Albert Tablante, Co-Chair ACRL/NY User Experience Discussion Group
