Carole Ann Fabian 

Speaker biography

Carole Ann Fabian is Applied Arts Librarian at the Architecture and Planning Library at the University at Buffalo. Forging partnerships with academic administrators and teaching faculty across the disciplines has been a major emphasis of Professor Fabian’s professional practice at UB. Her recent research, presentations and publications have focused on the development of these relationships as experienced through her work in UB's Educational Technology Center and as a subject specialist / faculty liaison for the School of Architecture and Planning.

Presentation abstract

This presentation will address multiple strategies for engaging faculty in course-integrated information literacy initiatives. Case studies will be used to demonstrate models for outreach, instruction and assessment of student learning.
