This event is open to Library & Information Science students and recent graduates, and does not require ACRL/NY Membership.

Hear from professionals in the field who are experienced mentors in the ACRL/NY Mentoring Program share their stories. We will use a "spin the wheel" approach to ask questions and hear presenters’ experiences and advice. Topics will include job interviews, how to get started, professional service, work-life balance, and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to pose their questions as well.

Panelists:

  • Danielle Apfelbaum, Associate Librarian, Scholarly Communication Librarian, Farmingdale State College
  • Stephanie Gross, Electronic Reserves and Scholarly Communication, Yeshiva University Libraries
  • Mark Aaron Polger, Associate Professor & Coordinator of Library Outreach, College of Staten Island

Hosted by the ACRL/NY Mentoring Program Co-Coordinators:
